Cover one of the many exciting beats for the Phoenix: *Campus news & events *Technology *Local area news *Politics *Theater events at the CPA *Finance *Sports (GSU sports clubs & the Recreation and Fitness Center) *Health & fitness *GSU success stories *Science *Food (restaurant reviews) *Business
Interested students should email a writing sample of 250 words pertaining to the topic they are interested in covering to Melissa Hall, Phoenix Editor-in-Chief, at phoenix@govst.edu with the subject line: Beat Writer. The writing sample should be sent as an attached Microsoft Word document. Please give a brief statement in the body of the email (three to five sentences) as to why you are interested in covering a specific beat for the Phoenix. Be sure to include contact information!
