Bucktown Academy is seeking a warm and energetic teacher for our preschool classroom (ages 3-5). Hours are from 8:00am-5:00pm. Responsibilities are to organize classroom activities, create and implement teacher made curriculum based on Early Learning Standards, run and manage small groups, set-up/clean-up classroom, work with students one-on-one, and interact daily with parents. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and being part of a team. Early childhood experience is needed. We are a small and stress-free school with a small student to teacher ratio. The position starts mid-August. Students start the last week of August. Please only respond if you are passionate about early childhood and have experience working with children ages 3-5.
