I earned my undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, before continuing on to earn my master's degree in speech-language pathology from Saint Xavier University. I have worked as a special education teacher and as a charter school teacher. My experience has been with students from kindergarten through twelfth grade in all levels. I love being able to bring clinical skills into each session because I can break difficult subjects down into easier steps. When I am not working, I enjoy volunteering in the community and keeping active through running. I strive to one day teach a dog through animal-assisted therapy services....
