I believe an outstanding teacher is committed to being a life time learner and finds a way to make learning fun, relevant, and applicable to the real world. Good teachers help students explore new ways of viewing the world as well as themselves; they challenge them to go beyond being contempt with surface answers to being willing to explore multiple layers of truths simultaneously. Outstanding teachers love what they do and feel elated that they are able to get paid for doing it.
