Michael Clarke Duncan Dies of Heart Attack
Michael Clarke Duncan, often associated with the phrase "gentle giant," has died Monday after a July 13th heart attack at the age of 54. Duncan was being treated at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angleles.

Duncan, who was originally from Chicago, was set to marry fiancé and former contestant of Celebrity Apprentice, Omarosa Manigault in January.
Tom Hanks, who starred alongside Duncan in The Green Mile, mourned the actor's death saying, "I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned."
The director of The Green Mile, Frank Darabont, also expressed his condolences saying "I'm devastated at the loss of Michael Clarke Duncan, one of the finest people I've ever had the privilege to work with or know. Michael was the gentlest of souls-an exemplar of decency, integrity, and kindness. The sadness I feel is inexpressible."
